PR Agency One supports the Educational Trust
B2B and consumer specialist PR Agency One is proud to be a silver sponsor of this year’s Educational Trust’s Rupert Smith Memorial Lecture. Nurturing the region’s creative talents and encouraging the brightest and best to look beyond London for a career in all aspects of media, advertising, marketing and public relations is a noble aim.
It is not an easy task but there is no reason why anyone should choose London over the North West.
That’s why we are helping to raise funds to give students who are completing professional marketing qualifications bursaries to advance their studies here.
The region has a huge and thriving marketing sector, a large amount of jobs both in house and in agency, along with the right infrastructure to sustain growth. It’s also a great place to live with all the amenities that one might find in London, but often at a fraction of the price, meaning salaries go that much further.
The talent shortage can be problematic, but employers in the region often step up to the plate to support students through their studies, or to provide training and development.

The Rupert Smith memorial lecture will be held on Thursday 23rd November at Manchester Metropolitan University. This year’s topic for discussion will be programmatic advertising and will be lead by Hamish Nicklin from Guardian News & Media. For ticket details, please enquire here.
