Ian Tinker

​Ian has extensive experience in media, having worked at top agencies in London, Birmingham and Manchester on high profile accounts such as Barclaycard and Chanel No 5. He has also been heavily involved in education and training for the creative industry and given much of his time to charity for the advertising industry as chairman of NABS North West.   


Peter Cooper

Pete has been in the advertising and marketing business for more years than he cares to mention, enjoying spells at Publicis and TMD Carat before spending some 18 years at MediaCom where he was Managing Director. Following a sabbatical and gardening leave in 2016, Pete started at Dentsu Aegis in January this year. Outside the office, he enjoys many sports and loves traveling.

David Downs

​David, advertising director with Immediate Media’s northern sales team, has worked in media sales for over 20 years, during which time he set up BBC Magazines and Immediate Media’s sales teams in Manchester.  David believes passionately that developing young talent allows the industry to benefit from, and enhance, a vibrant, talented and creative dynamic in marketing communications industry in the North.


Colin Telford

Colin Telford is the co-founder of two companies involved in Manchester’s marketing sector. Firstly, R.O.EYE, a performance-marketing agency that focuses on delivering results for online clients. More recently in 2012, Colin launched The Candidate, a marketing recruitment agency that helps candidates in the digital marketing sector find the best jobs.

Gill Cosser

Gill Cosser is a Chartered Marketer, after leaving the corporate world she moved into Educational initially in delivering The Chartered Institute of Marketing qualifications and then moving into Higher Education. She has taught Marketing at a number of universities in the North West and is currently lecturing at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School.

Graham Webb

Graham has spent much of the last 18 years in further and higher education, as a lecturer, senior lecturer and later curriculum manager. He was recently appointed chief examiner (domestic and international qualifications) for marketing, consumer behaviour, and international marketing. Graham has also been appointed to The Chartered Institute of Marketing’s assessment writers panel.
